apt-get update oddity

Depends. Sometimes packages will hit the available lists before they're 
actually ready to download. I've had this happen to me, when I've tried to 
dist-upgrade while the repository is busy refreshing itself. Waiting a few 
minutes and trying again got the packages I needed.

OTOH, is this happening every time?
