Unfortunately this dint not work for me. I had to go to
http://sourceforge.net/projects/qce-ga/
and get the qc-us-0.6.2 version and then run the quickcam.sh to make
my camera work. I suspect the version from the mag.cx site has a
quickcam.sh script with a bug in it , because it wasnt able to link
/dev/video0 to the registerd device .
