Problem compiling kernel on Warty

Hi,

I've been trying to install beagle, following the instructions at
http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/BeagleInstallHowto.

When it comes to compiling the (2.6.8.1) kernel (having applied the
inotify patch successfully), I get the following error:

fs/read_write.c: In function `vfs_read':
fs/read_write.c:238: error: `inode' undeclared (first use in this function)
fs/read_write.c:238: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only
once
fs/read_write.c:238: error: for each function it appears in.)
fs/read_write.c: In function `vfs_write':
fs/read_write.c:287: error: `inode' undeclared (first use in this function)
make[2]: *** [fs/read_write.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [fs] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-source-2.6.8.1'
make: *** [stamp-build] Error 2

Any ideas why?

Cheers,

CB.
