The iwconfig settings can be put directly into the
/etc/network/interfaces file:

Example:
auto eth2
iface eth2 inet dhcp
wireless_essid myessid
wireless_key mykey
wireless_channel 11

Note:  If you key is a string as opposed to hex, you will need:
wireless_key s:mykey


Hope this is what you are looking for.

Well, eventually I will try out the card reader and the bluetooth, but
I don't really have a pressing need for either of those right now.

Anyone know if the libata and the acpi patches will be included
directly in the 2.6.12 kernel?
