Firefox instability in Hoary

I have also noted some of these issues.  First in saving files, I was
able to save them and choose a location with no issues.  Some time in
the last few days, and I don't recall any changes to Firefox during
this time, I could no longer save a file to disk.  I have to do save
link as or tell it to open with file roller, then go to the temp file
and move it to where I want it.  I have also had sporadic issues with
FF when closing tabs and moving back to previous sites.  I don't seem
to notice any real consistency in the crashes, and it is not everytime
I do these activities.  I run the same firefox setup in fedora core 3
and have not had any of these issues (but I also have KDE on that OS).
