It's possible that you may need to patch your DSDT.

I've put up the DSDT changes I have at http://www.lyranthe.org/acer/

The patch is a unified diff against the output of iasl. See 
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Fix_Common_ACPI_Problems for some further 
details on changing your DSDT.

A dpatch is also there for the ioapic issue.
