installing thunderbird 1.0.2

mozilla finally released an update for their email application:
http://www.mozilla.org/
after downloading it, quit thunderbird, right-click extract-here,
enter the folder, cut the folder "thunderbird"
and place it wherever you want it to run,
for example in /home/yourusername/aps/
in that folder, doubleclick "thunderbird".
you can make a shortcut to it by right-clicking in
an empty space of a menu panel, add to panel,
custom application launcher.

then in your home directory,
make invisible files visible,
and rename .mozilla-thunderbird to .thunderbird
