I've previously (using redhat 9.0) used gnomemeeting on linux connecting 
to netmeeting on windows - worked a charm. I haven't tried out 
gnomemeeting on Ubuntu, but don't see why it wouldn't still work. This 
was using the MediaForte camera + a separate microphone on linux.
