Download, using wget, and burn both Live Hoarty Ubuntu and Kubuntu. 
1x on different cd flavors: TDK for one - Generic for the other

Both run until they get to hardware:

casper-udeb

Have both check intergrity of disk:

./pool/main.........-28.i386.udeb failed checksum verification

Warty currently installed. No problem downloading, burning or running
anything before Warty installed.

Any assistance geared toward a fourth grade level would be appreciated.
