Dell 8600 suspend to Ram problems Hoary 5.04

Hello,
 I am trying to get my suspend to ram working with no luck. I have it
to the point when using Fn+Suspend buttons will put the system in
suspend. my problem is when I bring it back out of suspend the screen
is all different colors, kind of like the screen saver, but there are
random lines shooting across and nothing will get it out of this
state, I am forced to hard reboot. I have tried many many settings in
/etc/default/acpi-support with no luck. I have the Ubuntu Nvidia
drivers installed for my video card if that matters. I looked at the
PM results wiki page and saw that if you didnt save the VBEstate it
worked for one guy, and if you set Video post to true it worked for
another, needless to say niether alone or combined worked for me. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
