open your terminal in Mac OS X and type this in:
sudo cdrecord -v speed=4 dev=IODVDServices /myUbuntuLinuxDistro.iso
some things before you do this:
- you will need to install 'cdrecord' from a repository like Fink or
Darwinports since it is not part of the Darwin distro
- this script needs to be run as sudo
- best to burn at 4x since I have tried it faster with varying degrees
of success
- this script assumes that the file is root to your hard drive but it
can live anywhere -- just make sure to type in the correct path
- tip: drag the .iso into the terminal window and the path will appear
automatically
- you need to substitute the actual name of the iso file for
'myUbuntuLinuxDistro.iso'
hope this helps ppc n00bz! :)
