Firefox instability in Hoary

I have similar problems with saving files and the new firefox 1.0.1 so
it's not specific to ppc because I'm running the latest K7 kernels on
an Athlon XP.

If I just click on a link and then attempt to save a file, it doesn't
save.  I have to right click on a link and choose "save link as" to get
a file to save.  Very frustrating because I had been saving a bunch of
files before I realized that none of them were actually saving.
