Sorry everybody,
the power died on my laptop before I could get this information, so it's 
gone back for servicing. I'll pull off the information when I get it 
back (maybe a week from now). I hope that can still meet the Hoary 
release timeframe.

Similarly, I hadn't quite finished playing with ChipID in the xorg 
configuration. I didn't have any luck getting it to work, but then I 
didn't try the X800 IDs, which I hear it may be closest to - and I was 
also using the latest fglrx instead of the Xorg ati driver.

If it helps to get the tables updated, the device ID is 0x5653.

I was also sort of wondering earlier today - the chipset is a 915PM and 
isn't correctly detected by the kernel yet (it thinks it's a 915GM) - so 
there might be a problem since the 915PM doesn't have AGP support. 
Disabling agpgart maaaay help (note: I know next to nothing about this).
