geda in ubuntu

Looks like geda-gschem is only available as source.  That's not a
problem:

sudo apt-get build-dep geda-schem
sudo apt-get source -b geda-schem

That should get you a geda-schem*.deb which you can then install.  After
that geda should install properly.  FWIW, I usually do this sort of
thing from within /usr/src or ~/src
