DLINK DWL-G650+ Connection to Router Issue

AFAIK, D-Link are kind of masters of confusion: not only names differ
only slighlty (there is I think dwl-650, dwl-g650, dwl-650+, dwl-g650+
and all have different chipsets), but also the same cards used to have
different chipsets while having the same name... 

My DWL-G650+ has acx111 for sure and as I need WEP, there is no way to
use acx drivers (I've tried). But I do monitor their development and as
soon as WEP is functional I will use them.
