try apt-get install libstdc++6 libstdc++6-dev
is in universe i do belive. those should resolve those dependancies for
you.
another hint is to try doing searchs via teh command line. synaptic by
default searches package names, where as an 'apt-cache search' in teh
command line does much much more.
