No sound when playing .wmv files

Dunno, whatever version was in the marillat repo. 
I reinstalled Warty yesterday, and have not yet got round to
re-installing them again. (no need to play my vmw files right now)
I don't have Hoary in my machine anymore, but as fas as I remember, the
vmw's files didn't play any better than in Warty.
