| It is there:

ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/transcode_0.6.14-0.2_i386.deb

I know :D. I've downloaded that deb package and inspected its control
file in order to check its dependency out.

transcode_0.6.14-0.2_i386.deb depends on libdvdread3 but I'm sure
apt-get is trying to install another version of transcode since it
depends on the old libdvdread2, which is not going to be installed by
apt-get since it finds libdvdread3 already installed in the system.

How can I check which version (and from repository) is apt-get trying to
install a given package?

Sorry about a maybe silly question, but I'm new to APT.

Yes, I did but I get the same result...

Thanks for your help,

Cristiano
