No need (maybe) for the patched driver. Nvidia released some new Linux
drivers today!
Here's a link: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux.html
The 6629 driver wouldn't work with my GeForce MX4000 card nor my old
TNT2 card.
The new 7167 driver does work with my GeForce MX4000. Maybe it will work
with your TNT2 card, too!
Remember to remove the nvidia-glx package BEFORE building and installing
these drivers or you may find yourself rebuilding your nvidia module
after every reboot.
Enjoy and good luck!
