Logout causes system freeze

No, it seems to have fixed itself when I did an apt-get
upgrade/dist-upgrade. My workaround, if anyone else has this was to open a
bash session and do sudo shutdown -h now. Bit of a dirty hack, but saved the
stress of just hitting the, 'off' switch.
