I don't think you quite understand the point of mailing lists. Any email 
you send gets sent to EVERYONE on the list, and therefore any email 
anyone else sends gets sent to you. That's one thing that I haven't seen 
anyone else say that I thought it would be a good idea to clarify.

But what some have already said is correct. People tried to get more 
information about your problem from you. There is rarely going to be a 
quick fix in one or two emails, regardless of what OS you're using. 
There's a line of questioning that can take just a couple exchanges, but 
could take tens at least. Patience is a virtue ;)

You can also get the mailing list in digest format, so you get one email 
with all the posts every day, so you don't get hundreds. Big improvement 
if you don't want to sort through all the email.

Please don't get so abrasive though. You have to understand that nobody 
on this list knows everything about every problem. They also aren't 
paid. If it takes a while for people to get back to you, that's because 
nobody who has time and/or knows what to do has read your problem.
