Reiserfs vs ext3

About a year ago, there was an article in some Linux magazine comparing
all the Linux filesystems. Or was it a book? Doesn't really matter,
since I can't point you to it, anyway.
My general impression was that, unless I had some special requirements
(like VERY large files, or the need for fast multimedia files), ext2/3
was overall the fastest, although Reiser does beat it out in some
areas.
At least, after reading the article, I thought ext seemed the best for
general use.
