For a while now I've been getting the following warning whenever I do an
'apt-get update':

W: GPG error: http://security.ubuntu.com hoary-security Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster at ubuntu.com>
W: GPG error: http://archive.ubuntu.com hoary Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster at ubuntu.com>
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

A second 'apt-get update' finishes without the warning.

Why does this happen?
Can I do something to make it go away?

/M

Software is not manufactured, it is something you write and publish.
Keep Europe free from software patents, we do not want censorship
by patent law on written works.

Where there's chaos there's opportunity.
