Given that I have installed the nvidia-glx package through synaptic,
is it not possible to roll back using this or apt-get? (I am not
experienced in such things). I couldn't find the older version using
synaptic.
I did spend some time attempting previously attempted to get the
nvidia installer to compile a kernel interface for Hoary, but without
success despite the linux-headers and linux-sources being correct for
my kernel version.
