Hi All,

I just did an install from today's daily cd and it didn't go to well.
Here is my recap:

* CD booted as normal
* I got the point where I manually edit my hd partitions and things got hairy

** I have 2 IDE drives and the installer detected them as SCSI drives.
** The drives get set as sda and sdb and this should not be.
** Prior installers detect the IDE drives just fine.

** The installer started to format the drives as ext3.
** The formatting got to 81% on / then just froze

Some of my hardware specs:
-------------------------------------
Motherboard: Abit IC7/IC7-G(Intel i875P-ICH5)
(USB/Firewire/SATA(RAID)/IDE/AC'97/AGP 8x)
RAM: 1GB DDR SDRAM
P4 3.2GHz
ATI Radeon 9600XT Pro
Pioneer DVD+/-RW DL drive
LaCie Firewire CD-RW drive (not totally working but more on this later
after I try Array 6)
WD 200GB IDE drive (Primary drive)
Old 20GB IDE drive I use as a scratch drive (swap, /tmp, and some other junk...)

Please let me know if I can provide any more info.

I had to go back an install from my Array 5 disc. I am going to try
Array 6 when the download finishes.
