Yes, I do quite love Galeon and am so glad it's in Universe now. But
still wonder why i's not in Main, or even installed by default instead
of Firefox. It's the Gnome we browser after all, it should at least be
in Main, sounds logical to me, no ??
And the other way around : if using Friefox for browsing, then to be
consistent, Thunderbird should be used for e-mail, and Evolution should
be put in Universe, just like that poor Galeon...
Firefox looks a lot better now, in Hoary, thanks to full (as far as I
can see) Gtk themes support, but the overall design of dialog boxes
(download manager), and some icons (preferences dialog), is still very
ugly/windows like. And when you log out, you get an error message saying
it doens't support session context saving, and when you log back in,
it's all over the place.
Galeon restores everytihng, tabs, sites, proper working space
everething, sweet as chocolate ! :o)
And it handles mouse gestures as well :-)
And the program icon, "about" dialog, and "myportal" location just look
nice :)
Only problem I have with it, is that it seems to have problems rleaoding
pages. When I work on my web site, upload a modification to a page, and
press the reload button to see the change, it keeps displaying the old
page, even if I right-click on the reload icon and select "bypass
cache". It's really annoying. But other than that, I just love it so
much :o)
