Re-visiting install / setup.

You didn't mention if you were on Warty (the current stable version)
or Hoary. On Hoary you'd type:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

On Warty, it would be 

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 (I think)
