Difference: Hoary LiveCD <> upgraded Warty

I was wondering the very same. I don't understand why if you upgrade via apt
you seem to get a not quite as good version as if you re-installed via a cd
image. This seems a bit arse because the cd does not give you an 'upgrade'
option so you lose all your personal setting and the like.
