Programs at Startup

Hi,

A few month ago I asked how to make applications to start automatically 
whenever I start a gnome session. I was told to enable "restart" in 
Computer -> Desktop Preferences -> Sessions.

Now I would like to get rid of a program startig every session, namely 
gaim, however I can't manage to do it. I tried marking gaim as with 
"wastebasket" in the Session Manager, but that does not seem to help.
