Array 6 fails on laptop

It's just a possibility but some older CD drives have trouble reading
cdr's written at high speed on a newer drive so you could try burning
the iso slower (say x4 or x8). I would also experiment with the special
boot parameters on the install CD (like noapic, nolapic etc) if you
haven't already.
