Back when Lokitorrent.com was still alive, we had this type of
*battles* for hours on a daily basis , so im sorry for not being very
helpful trying to get u to nderstand why we some of us love BT .
* I dl LOTS of .isos , bt fixes my corrupt dls so i wont know theyre
bad BEFORE i finish .
* You are sharing with other ppl, like it or not . No i dl, no ul cheat
like other P2P's, ur dl rate is proportional to ur ul rate .
* If u had something BIG to share off ur own server, u would LOVE if u
could jst send the file to 4-5 people then let them "seed" ur file,
thus u are not required to be online for the file to get transfered.
all that while hardly using bwith.
* You HAVE to configure ur router/firewall to use BT . It doesnt start
to DL fast automatically. go to portforward.com and get help on opening
ports for bt. defaults are 6881-6999 [confirm with ur app].
* Most of files are certified, u wont get pr0n while trying to dl
warty4.10 ... most are at least
Last but not least, BT doesnt start at full speed, it gradually
increases as it connects to peers/seeders and as u go uploading ur dl
part.
and hundreds reasons previosly discussed in the treatorous lokitorrent
