sharing printer with windows users

I have set up my printer (HP Deskjet 640C) and it is printing from
linux just fine. I want to allow my girlfrinds laptop to also print to
this printer, I have found some nformation via google aboutsharing the
printer through samba but no matter what i altered in smb.conf and
cupsd.conf I still cant add the printer.
Can someone please give me some help on how I share my printer so that
a windows machine can see it...
