Hoary Array 5- vmware with 2.6.11-1-686-smp - unknown symbol

Most newer 2.6 kernels have this problem its all related to precompiled
modules not knowing about the new changes in the kernel application
binary interfaces.  (Mainly related to function renaming.)

Here is the patch however:
http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/vmware-any-any-update89.tar.gz 

It lasts  until you find the next kernel version that won't let the
modules compile.

I had the previous "vmware any any" patch and the vmware modules
wouldn't compile on 2.6.11 but fine on 2.6.10 and below.  Now it works
fine on 2.6.11 with update89.
