AFAICT, the problem here is that the subscription address of the forums
ended up on a public archive (back when it was
something at gs1.ubuntuforums.org), and it's now being spammed
independently, and included on the ubuntu-users archive on the forums; I
haven't seen any spam coming through the list myself, and I know the
list to be moderated.
