1.9.79 actually. Which is a couple of months old I think.. (Though I
do remember that version on Windows and it ran fine.. I'd take it over
1.1.3 anytime. Only that new Access-replacement database wasn't really
working yet, but the word processor, spread-sheet and drawing program
worked excellent.

So you can just install that version, that's probably the way to go.

To install the latest beta release.. that's tricky. They only release
rpms, and I haven't been able to get those installed.

Would be nice if there were Ubuntu/Debian installer files available
for the latest releases?

I know I should just be patient: use 1.9.79 now and just sit tight until
the next version (or the full 2.0) is released.
