Hi,
I prefer the behaviour and the design of the ubuntu gdm, that's why I
used gdm for kde for a while but have had some little problems as posted
earlier:
(see: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=206804&postcount=5)
David, who answered
(see: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=206841&postcount=6)
told me that's not an ubuntu problem but one related to the
collaboration between gdm and kde:
Someone should use kdm to get
- shutdown option within the logout manager
- opportunity to start a new session within an actual kde session.
I reinstalled kdm and that solved my KDE-problems.
