A little help with WiFi

Hello there! I have just intalled Ubuntu 5.04 "The Hoary Hedgehog" in my 
Sony Vaio VGN-FS660/W and I was surprise to see that it reconized my 
wireless card (Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG) no problem. I could even connect 
to a hot spot in Ubuntu but apparently I'm unable to send packets for some 
reason. Does anyone now what can be wrong?
