quasar accounting on ubuntu??

Thanks for testing again. I will reinstall
Kubuntu and then do a fresh install of Quasar and post the results over
the next week or so.

I can just hope that everything goes smooth on this one as I  need to
really get Quasar going. Did you try it on version 1.4.6?

Just a comment as per you "How to" my Kubuntu comes with K-menu as
default installed w.r.t your point 27 onwards and I have uses K-Menu
edit to create the desktop icons etc. Also your point 3 "Read How to
install the Firebird RDMS Server" I cannot find such a document or
Howto and may have slipped here, can you help with this?
