Really? The websites states:

"... please note that SpellBound does work with the Firefox 1.0.4
release."

I manually installed the spellbound_lib_linux_1.0.2.xpi and the 
English myspell dictionary xpi. Then installed the spellbound xpi 
as usual. Works fines now.
