Ah, at last some new and constructive post, it's refreshing...

Yes, I never thought of this, and it sounds perfect. A human being
friendly splash/message, without any of the framebuffer associated
problems that people mentioned.

I vote for that ! :-)

Well, that's if the devs create a poll ie...
