Problems with ppp

Hello all,
I use ppp (via wvdial) to connect to the net via my cellphone. (its a
cdma phone)
whenever i connect to the net i get this strange message
--> Carrier detected. Waiting for prompt.
--> Don't know what to do! Starting pppd and hoping for the best.
--> Starting pppd at Sun Jun 19 08:57:13 2005
--> pid of pppd: 19455
--> Using interface ppp0
--> local  IP address
--> remote IP address
--> primary   DNS address
--> secondary DNS address

Please look in detail at the second and the third lines above.
After the sudden disconnection, i get

Disconnecting at Sun Jun 19 04:21:35 2005
--> The PPP daemon has died: Authentication error.
--> We failed to authenticate ourselves to the peer.
--> Maybe bad account or password? (exit code = 19)
--> man pppd explains pppd error codes in more detail.
--> I guess that's it for now, exiting
--> The PPP daemon has died. (exit code = 19)

This causes ppp to automatically disconnect after a few hours
Here's my wvdial.conf
Modem = /dev/ttyS0
Baud = 115200
SetVolume = 0
Dial Command = ATDT
Username = 8182395302
Password = 8182395302
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = AT+CRM=1;$LGPKT=3
FlowControl = Hardware(CRTSCTS)

[Dialer reliance]
Username = 8182395302
Password = 8182395302
Phone = #777
Inherits = Modem0
Stupid mode = 0

and here's my /etc/ppp/options

asyncmap 0
/dev/ttyS0 115200

The modem specific options are correct (ie ttyS0, the baud rate, the AT
Commands etc..)

clearly, there's some problem related to authentication, (although i the
internet works perfectly while connected.)
Could anyone please tell me how to rectify this problem?
