[returns nothing]
gerhard at ubuntu:~$ apt-cache search setiathome
tkseti - GUI front-end to the SETI
ksetisaver - Seti screensaver for KDE
Further packages with $ apt-cache search seti
gdesklets-data - displays and sensors for gdesklets
tkseti - GUI front-end to the SETI at Home client for UNIX.
kboincspy - monitoring utility for the BOINC client
ksetispy - monitoring utility for the SETI at home client
ksetisaver - Seti screensaver for KDE
wmsetimon - A dock app which show you the current state of your
SETI at Home units
wmufo - This is wmseti on steroids!

So, I assume, that you have to download the client as proposed by Matt
Galvin at the seti project page http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ .

Kind regards
