Xubuntu? (was: Does Kubuntu really need to be it's own distro?)

Xubuntu doesn't exist yet, it's just an idea.  Maybe under development,
I don't know as the only thread I could find on the forums mentioning
its existance state that it doesn't exist.  There's also discussion in
Breezy forums about making a spin-off for 'Xubuntu' or including it as a
choice in the current Ubuntu CD.
