Scanner Mustek Bearpaw 2448TA Plus does not run

Hello all, 

as I mentioned above I did not get this scanner running. It is
recognized by XSane (I can choose it), but if I want to start the
scanner, I get following error message(translated from german; can
differ from the english one):

error while opening the device 'gt68xx:libusb:002:002': wrong parameter

Does anyone have an idea how I get this thing scanning? Thx
