Polish fonts without Polish environment

If document will be in UTF-8 then i think the simplest solution i sto
use "polish programmer" keyboard (it should be default - so just select
'polish layout'). In Poland we use "normal"(US) keyboard. Strange
accents is done by pressing right alt-key and (holding it) repective
character - eg for dashed l hold right-alt and press l. It is that
simple :)



In Gnome it is in System->Preferences->Keyboard->Layout
