UPS control and event viewer for Hoary

Hi all.

I have been looking for a good open source app that I can use to monitor 
and control my Mustek 600 USB UPS but with no success.
I am not even sure if Hoary even recognize it.

Even though I know it works (Keep my PC up and running) I would like to 
know if theres a way to monitor or control it.

Can you people help me with that?
