Yes, its called zope.  Or if your really masicistic(sp?) then you should
check out twisted.  I can't get more specific until you do.  What are
you trying to do?  Yes, Ubuntu has all kinds of python-foo goodness and
it works great as a server.  Don't know what else you want to know.
