Stephen, you seem to be fairly up on ipw2200 issues. I'm running 1.0.0
on ubuntu 5.0.4 and also used that howto at

http://www.nickselby.com/articles/technology/?a=1807

Things were running fine until recently when I noticed on startup a
fatal error:

ipw2200: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 Network Driver, 0.19
ipw2200: Copyright(c) 2003-2004 Intel Corporation
ipw2200: Detected Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
ipw2200: Fatal error
ipw2200: Start IPW Error Log Dump:
ipw2200: Status: 0x80000241, Config: 00000142
ipw2200: Start IPW Event Log Dump:
ipw2200: Fatal error
ipw2200: Start IPW Error Log Dump:
ipw2200: Status: 0x00200100, Config: 00000142
ipw2200: Start IPW Event Log Dump:
Vendor: EPSON Model: Stylus Storage Rev: 1.00
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02

Two questions: First, just a cotton pickin minute: I replaced ipw2200 v
0.19 with version 1.0.0 three weeks ago (I'm in fact the guy who *wrote*
that how-To!). Did the upgrade of linux headers last week REPLACE my
1.0.0 with 0.19???

Second, what gives with the ipw2200 dumping stuff about my EPSON printer?

Thanks in advance,
nick
