BT Voyager 105 USB ADSL modem? (EciAdsl?)

Well, I did my good deed for the day by installing Ubuntu (Hoary) on a
friend's computer yesterday.

My friend has broadband internet access, but unfortunately, it is via a
"BT Voyager 105" USB ADSL modem.

Some poking around the web seems to suggest that the EciAdsl driver does
support this USB device.

It *is* an Ubuntu package in universe, so I downloaded it and installed
it on my friend's computer.

Unfortunately, the installation instructions make reference to a
configuration tool, but this doesn't appear to be part of the Ubuntu
package.

I'm not sure how to proceed from here.

Does anybody else have experience of this ADSL modem on Ubuntu?
Has anybody got it working?

Thanks in advance,

David.
