XDMCP problems

Hello,

Unfortunately, no luck. The same penomona also occurs with KDM.... The
funny part is that I get the login screen of the unix host when login in
graphically onto the unix machine, but afterwards the connections
crashes and I get back into kdm.

Another thing I noticed that if I launch tsclient, the xdmcp connection
is not available which confirms your guess that xdmcp is not started
with X. How I do get it started still remains a mistery though...

Barry

Hi,

it's gdm that starts X without XDMCP. Just run gdmsetup and enable
XDMCP and incoming connections. Hope that works for you.
